From now to March 2029
Kapitech makes a card for each of these moments, from your own numbers. Keep it for yourself or send it to whoever’s rooting for you. These four come from the plan above.

Every month, written out
Kapitech Pro writes out the whole plan: what you pay, which debt the extra goes to and the month each one is gone. This one runs on the numbers at the top of the page.
| Month | Extra goes to | Paid | Interest | Left to pay |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Nov 2026 | Credit card | $475 | $178 | $10,103 |

What else it does
You type each expense in. It takes seconds.
Amount, category, done. Typing it yourself is the point, because you actually see where the money goes.
A budget for each category.
Set a monthly limit and the bar fills as you spend. The free version has one budget, Pro has as many as you need.
Every card and loan, in the order you pick.
Snowball pays the smallest balance first. Avalanche pays the highest rate first. Or set your own order.
Your data, out whenever you want it.
Pro exports everything as CSV, PDF or JSON, for a spreadsheet, your records or whoever helps you with money.
Your bank stays out of it
Kapitech never asks for your bank login and doesn’t use Plaid or any bank sync. There’s no account to make either.
Your amounts, names and notes stay on your iPhone. The app sends anonymous usage events and crash reports so problems get fixed, and those never include amounts, names or notes.
New phone? iCloud Backup moves your data across. How budgeting without a bank login works
The app itself
iPhone and iPad, in English and Croatian. These are the real screens, with sample numbers.

Common questions
Does Kapitech do debt snowball and avalanche?
Yes. Add your debts with their balance, interest rate and minimum payment, then pick snowball (smallest balance first), avalanche (highest interest first) or your own order. Kapitech shows your debt-free date and total interest, and the free version handles up to 3 debts. The snowball vs avalanche guide explains which one to pick.
Can I use Kapitech without connecting my bank?
Yes. Kapitech never asks for your bank credentials and doesn’t use Plaid or any bank sync. You enter expenses yourself, which takes a few seconds each and means you actually see where the money goes. More on how that works.
Is my financial data safe?
Your amounts, names and notes stay on your device, not on our servers, and there’s no account to create. The app sends anonymous usage events and crash reports so we can fix problems, and those never include amounts, names or notes. The privacy policy lists exactly what goes where.
What’s the difference between free and Pro?
Free has unlimited expenses, 1 budget, 1 goal and 3 debts. Pro removes those limits and adds the full payment schedule, the extra payment calculator and export. It’s $3.99 a month, $19.99 a year or $29.99 once for lifetime.
Is Kapitech a good YNAB alternative without bank sync?
If you want a budget app that doesn’t link your bank, it’s close. You set budgets per category, log expenses by hand and track debts with a snowball or avalanche plan in the same app. It isn’t zero-based budgeting where every dollar gets a job, so if that’s what you love about YNAB, Kapitech will feel different.
Can I export my data?
Yes, with Pro. Export to CSV, JSON or PDF and open it in a spreadsheet, keep it for your records or send it to whoever helps you with money.
Can I move my data to a new iPhone?
Kapitech doesn’t sync through our servers, because your data stays on your device. Apple’s iCloud Backup moves it to a new iPhone or iPad when you set one up.
Is there an Android version?
Not right now. Kapitech is iPhone and iPad only.
How often is it updated?
Regularly, with fixes and new features. The free version, the payoff plan and the share cards all came in recent updates.
